  • Porte de Hal – In the Middle Ages, Brussels was a walled city with huge gateways. Today you can visit the 14th century Porte de Hal tower gateway – it's big and impressive.
  • Royal Pavilion in Brighton, England. This former home of George IV is one of the UK's most exotic buildings from the Regency era. Indian architecture contrasts with interiors inspired by the Orient and collections of furniture and soft furnishings, decorative art, silver gilt and chinoiserie, including loans from the Queen.
  • Red brick clock tower in Brighton England.
  • Westminster Cathedral, the motherchurch of the Roman Catholic Church in Britain and seat of the Archbishop of Westminster. It was designed by John Francis Bentley and built between 1895 and 1903, although it wasn't consecrated until 1910.
  • The Palace of Westminster was built in 1840 in the neogothic style, and is home to the Houses of Parliaments, namely the House of Commons and House of Lords. It is flanked by its famous Clock Tower (98m), commonly known as Big Ben seen here with the new Ferris Wheel along the Thames River in the background.
