Great Divide Bicycle Ride (without competition)
Bikers (and hikers) ride along the Great Divide Mountain Bike Route (or Tour Divide) on Red Rock Road (in Montana and idaho) to complete a personal best achievement challenge riding from Canada to Mexico or even farther. These bikers are not participating in a race but just following a lifelong dream to stretch themselves beyond their normal limits. Some are riding to support a cause like Cancer Research and others just to challenge themselves. I enjoy documenting their achievements and sharing them with you.

Phillip is from Dublin, Ireland. He is taking his time off from work as an Urban Planner to ride the Tour Divide. This was taken on the Continental Divide between Montana and Idaho on September 19, 2010. He said he'd been on the road for 30 days after leaving Banff.
