Tour Divide Bicycle Race (competition)
Bikers compete each year in the Tour Divide Race from Banff, Alberta, Canada to the Mexican border at Antelope Springs, NM along the Great Divide Mountain Bike Route. Most are more interested in challenging themselves than winning a timed race. All ride along Red Rock road in Idaho, or South Centennial Road in Montana where I'll document their progress if I see them.

Michael Partheymuller (Vail, CO) stops briefly in front of RedRock RV Park near Island Park, Idaho to get his photo taken by me. It's raining hard and he is soaked after riding today in the Tour Divide Bicycle race from Banff, AB, Canada to Antelope Springs, NM (Mexican border). It's over 2700 miles and hopefully not all in the rain. It's June 22, 2013 and he's been riding about 8 days solid. About 14 more to go!
